2017 RAM 2500 Power Wagon Gets Off-Road Enhancements

When drivers are looking for a tough truck that is fun both on and off of the road, we jump at the chance to show off our RAM models. At the Chicago Auto Show this month, we learned that a new truck will join the ranks of this tough lineup.

The 2017 RAM 2500 Power Wagon made its official debut in the Windy City, and it promises plenty of off-roading potential. Under the hood sits a 410-horsepower 6.4-liter HEMI V8 engine that can generate a torque of 429 lb.-ft. When mates to a six-speed automatic transmission. This engine also features the brand’s innovative Fuel Saver cylinder deactivation technology.

The new Power Wagon also promises reliability in tough terrain thanks to 14.3 inches of ground clearance, a customized suspension, a 12,000 pound winch, 17-inch wheels, locking differentials and much more.
